Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

The other day my boss told me that two clients had got married and that I needed to change her name in our system because she had taken his name. Then my boss went on to say how "cute" it was because he's kind of a romantic and loves when people get married. That's just the type of guy he is. Anyway, one of the nurses overheard this and says "why would anyone want to take their husband's name, is she his property or something?".
I wanted to punch her!!! I was fuming! I have nothing against women who decide to keep their maiden names but why must she be so judgemental about woman who decide to change their names??? I'm still mad.
I wanted to scream at her and tell her I was no one's property and that I thought she was just bitter for not being married at age 46 but I bit my tounge and walked away.
