Holy Crap! (fingerprinting)
So I have to get fingerprinted in MI for my new job.. they tell me the approved list of places there and it costs $65! Since I wont be up there for another week I decided to have a look here to see if I can get it done ahead of time. (which the HR dept said was fine as long as it is the same company) So here the cost to get them done is only $5!!!! Seriously?!?! I cant believe the difference.

Congrats on the new job!!!! Will you still be teaching and if so, what age & subject?
It was the same way with all the companies that use the same technology. It is the same technology here though too! crazy!!
I have a high school dance coaching job with a potential teaching position if one becomes available this summer (which there is a good chance). If not I am guaranteed a subbing position there. And there are two math teachers that will be on maternity leave the entire first semester. So if no luck with a full time position I would be getting a long term sub for a while. so far it is good news and i am happy!!
