Thankful Thursday?
I'll start...
I'm thankful that my parents dog was able to come home after being in the hospital for two days. He fell on Tuesday morning and the doctor thinks he had a stroke. His back legs weren't working. He's not 100% but he is well enough to come home. He's not in pain and is slowly improving and we are hoping that he will get better now that he is home. He's 13 years old so we all thought he wouldn't make it but he is so far!
I'm also thankful for a hard-working DH who could easily slack off and not care about work (he owns his own business so he can take a day off any time he wants) but he works hard and had a rough week last week when one of his employees was on vacation. We leave for vacation in two weeks and I cannot wait!!!

The only reason I am thankful for not having a job right now is because I get to spend 7 days with my sister, BIL, and my two awesome nephews!! They are driving to CT from Louisiana, but have decided to take a detour and come to Albany first! They'll stay with us next Tuesday, then I get some alone time with my younger nephew (15 months) while the others go to Howe Caverns. Then I'll go to CT with them and be there until Monday (DH will come down and meet us for the weekend). The 5.5 year old already texted me and then called me from his mom's phone, (he figured out how to access the speed dial names so she didn't even know he called until afterwards) to tell me that he loved me and couldn't wait to see me.
Can you tell how excited I am?!?!
I need a dose of excitement these days!
