Going to the coast
This will be my third time at this specific condo this year.
Anyways we are going to Gulf Shores for a long weekend July 14. I am hoping the oil is not that bad there but I have a feeling it will be. We know we may not be able to get in the ocean but the trip was already pre planned and we are going to help tourism. And we will get to swim in the pool and the guys get to play as much golf as they want.
Do yall think we are stupid for still going??

No! It's not stupid at all. They need the support. We went to Destin knowing full well that we might not be able to go to the beach at all. We lucked out and beat the oil and I'm glad we went. Honestly, we spent a total of about 4 hours on the beach total. The pools were better for us w/ the kids.
In a few years in Grand Isle isn't totally wiped off the map or covered in oil you should all totally come down and support our economy. haha.
I don't think it is crazy as they need the tourism. There will probably be oil, but I would think you can still go to the beach some, just probably not swim and all that.
I told George we will be going to the beach hopefully sometime even if it is winter time!
