As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Freaking Out re: Photos from the wedding
Aside from a 1-picture teaser on her blog, we haven't seen any of the photos from our wedding. According to our contract, she has 4-6 weeks to send us the disc with all of our pictures on it, and this Friday is the end of week 5. Yesterday afternoon I sent her an email that basically said, "hey just checking in to see how it's going. We're excited to see the pictures!" and haven't heard a thing. I've been having nightmares that our pictures are awful, and the waiting is only making them worse. Am I freaking out for no reason?

She's still got a week - deep breaths, my dear. I totally understand wanting to see them RIGHTNOW but this is also wedding season so wedding industry pros are super busy right now. I'd be worrying more if it were like 5 weeks and 6 days and still nothing. ;-) See what she says - if she doesn't respond to your email by tomorrow morning (it would be nice to give her 24 hours to respond) try a phone call - "Hey, I just wanted to make sure you got my email since sometimes I'm not always sure a message went through or not...but we can't wait to see our photos and just wondering if you might have an ETA for us!"
I completely understand! Our photog just emailed me last Thursday and said it should be a day or two until our proofs are available... but it's been almost a week and they're not up! We've picked out the holder for our cd with all the proofs on it, so hopefully that's being mailed sometime soon, but I'm getting impatient!
I know she has a lot going on-- she did two weddings this past weekend, and one the weekend before, not to mention engagements, portraits, etc. But still! I keep checking all the time and I'm starting to feel stress the way I did before the wedding checking the weather! I hate it!

haha-- so you're not alone!!
I feel your pain! We were married 5/22 and while we have seen pics (that we LOVE) on our photogs blog, I can't click on them to save them or anything. Plus there are only a few, and there are a few shots that I am REALLY excited to see (fam photos, some of just the two us, bridal party, etc) so I am dying for him to finish with them. I emailed him today because we really want to include some photos in our thank you notes, and I really don't want my guests to wait much longer for those. It's been a month already! But I totally get why it's taking so long, so I tried to be really nice in my email...he told me to expect them the beginning of July, so here's hoping!
