Gio's first cold :( Happy 2 months!
Just as I feared, Gio got my cold... I was up all night bc he was so congested even sitting him up to sleep in his car seat wasn't helping.. i had to lay him on my chest for him to be comfy. He was pissed i had to give him saline drops to try and help him clear out all the yuckys but of course its in the back of his throat so it didn't help much. 
( Broke my heart, he barely even drank his bottles. He's at least in good spirits and no fever so i'm hoping his chest will clear up this weekend.

This just made me think about when I was a baby and my first cold- at least you aren't like my parents. That was the first time I was ever drunk! I was so congested that they got worried, called the nurse practitioner, and she told them to mix some stuff together and give me a spoonful. One of the ingredients was whiskey!
Anyway, I was old enough to be crawling and apparently I was trying to crawl, collapsing on my hands, and just laughing like crazy. I'm still not sure if my parents feel guilty about that AT ALL, they still think that was hilarious. (They didn't give me anymore of that stuff, but guess it did make me feel better, haha!)
I hope Gio gets over this quickly!

this just made me lol. DH was doing side work for a family friend who is older and old school russian she said the same thing about whiskey!
