I went MIA....

hey ladies!!! i sorta went MIA for a while and for those of you on my FB page you know what HH and I have been up to.....WOOF! WOOF!

i sorta took a break from the boards for a few reasons but mostly b/c we have been super busy working for a jack russell rescue. i used to work dog rescue a long time ago and it has always been my main passion in life. throughout my entire dating life i never met anyone who i could share this passion with.....until HH!!!

we knew after the wedding this was something we both wanted to be a part of. this past saturday we drove 1 1/2 hour to pull three little girls out of a kill shelter that were set to be PTS.

i can't tell you how great it feels to be back into doing something i love and the best part is to be able to do it with my best friend and the man i love!!!

check out our blog for updates and pics!

it's nice to see everyone back on here and married! hope you are all enjoying life as a newly wed as much as i am!

  • Missed you!! Glad you are doing so many great things!!!!  Such sweet babies you are taking care of!

  • You're doing an awesome thing.  I would love to be involved in some way with a shelter or rescue, but I'm not sure I could handle it.  Just thought of an animal being abused or euthanized makes me cry.

I will admit its not always easy pulling and fostering, but very rewarding. As you can see very time consuming. I start a post and then dont get back to it for several days, lol  Definitely need ALOT of patience and understanding. Not everyone you rescue comes out all sweet and cuddly, some are aggressive and rebelious. You should look into the NO-KILL shelters and rescues in your area, most of them use volunteers for thing above and beyond just fostering.
