Ok, so I was driving home from work yesterday and I pulled onto my street and see a group of about 4 or 5 17-18 year old guys walking down the road. I get past them and look in my rearview mirror and one of them is making an obscene humping gesture towards me. I was just like "wow, that's mature", but didn't really think too much about it. I pulled up at my house and mentioned it to Adam and then I started looking at the DVD of wedding pics our photographer gave us (the ones that he didn't put on his website).
Adam said something about going to put gas in his truck or something and he comes back a little bit later. He went down there and yelled at the kid (he's 17) and made him walk all the way down to our house to apologize to me. I was CRACKING UP!!! He was all embarrassed and said something along the lines of "I'm sorry that I disrespected you and I was just messing around." Adam was like, "No, you just didn't think she'd see you in the rearview mirror". The guy got all red-faced and was like "Um, yeah".
Awww, HH the hero, defending my honor!!! And who said that chivalry is dead!!!
Re: HH is hilarious
That is quite romantic in a (hilarious) way.
Wow, I'm sure that's a REALLY effective sales pitch (rolls eyes).... what an idiot.
I'm sure it is to lol. After his sugar daddy line and HH telling him we weren't interested he got really cocky and started going on and on about how much he had sold that day and how much money he was making. I don't believe he sold anything with that kind of attitude.
I love that your HH went down the street and yelled at them though! Teenagers these days need to learn respect.
I'm kinda digging him, too!!! I think I'll keep him around for a while!!
hahaha that is hilarious.
side note: my reason for opening this post was that i always read "HH" as happy hour and was expecting a story about drunk antics.

That's why I usually don't answer the door if I'm drunk unless I know who it is!!!! Adam and I were drinking one afternoon on the weekend and these church people pulled up in our driveway. I made Adam answer the door. There was no way in hell I'd be able to listen to someone inviting me to go to their church while I'm sitting there hammered.
Awesome Stu!
HH's most chivalrous day was when we were walking downtown one evening. We had to walk by some questionable characters and HH said that if any of them touched me, he'd chase them down the street and "shank" them. Which is funny because he's a computer nerd and doesn't talk like that. Although I am positive if he was angry he could take anyone down.
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
Matt would totally have done what Adam did.
Well, maybe not to the extent of going out to track the kid down, but if he saw some teenage punk do something like that to me, he would have ground the kid into the dirt. He spent a couple of years professionally restraining teenage boys when they'd attack each other or staff members. His main regret after he was promoted to counselor was that he no longer gets to rough the guys up when they need it! Haha. Every once in a while a client will completely lose his mind and go after somebody in a group therapy session or something and Matt gets to put him into a restraint. He always comes home happy on those days! LOL
That is so funny! You made my day
