i'm totally tired of hearing friends brag about their romps or having too much SG it gives them UTIs, or also nice wake-up calls (ahem, i speak of you nesties (J/K) Wink

) b/c it has been a little while for me and will continue to be until DH is fully recovered from what should have been a minor surgery. i love my dh so much but i hate that our main bonding time these days is me packing the wound with gauze and washing it all out. i need a little passion...sigh

I stalked my BRU registry yesterday and the first thing purchased was the rectal thermometer Indifferent --I can't wait to see who bought that. I am trying not to stalk it anymore because it makes me feel too guilty but I cant promise that I won't do it again.

later in the day it showed the nail clippers and nasal syringe having been purchased so I assume they were all purchased by the same person but it was odd because it only showed the rectal thermometer earlier in the day

I am really sick of my mothers side of the family right now and I don't want to do anything with my grandmother for her birthday. I'm having to pack on my anniversary weekend and move the following weekend- which is her b-day- all of this because of the family's shady behavior. So I feel like being an immature brat about it. Doing the right thing and taking care of everyone else the whole year we have been here only got us three weeks notice to move out of the family house that we were paying rent at and I'm OVER IT.

I am in a really good mood for absolutely no reason and loving it. I'm all caught up with work and my boss is working remote today too. I'm secretly hoping he doesn't send me anything new to do and nobody brings me any errors to dig into.

One more - I actually somewhat nervous about seeing MIL today. Last time I saw her, she said she didn't like my haircut. I spent more time on it this morning so I hope she likes it. I don't know why I care!

I'm also hoping that she'll cut us a check for our birthdays instead of giving us items. Last year I got two small trashcans and DH got nothing. hahaha

When DH and I were planning our wedding, I told DH that I got the rec for our venue from here (well TK) and he totally gave me the side eye. Since then, I go to the GTGs when DH has plans without me or lunches during the week.

I am mad at Kauffman Tire. The screwed up the balance and alignment on my car's wheels. Now, it drifts to the right. I took it back up there this morning, and they tell me that I need 4 new tires. Oh, that will be $300?? WTF? 3 of the tires have less than 20,000 miles on them. The tread is fine, and they wouldn't warranty the tire. No thanks, I'll get a second opinion elsewhere.

DH has a very low opinion on many places because of this... they will actually er.. "fix" or do what you originally requested, and "tweak" this or that so that you HAVE to bring your car back, and then they charge you out the wazoo for unnecessary maintence and they don't take the blame for whatever they messed up.

Happened with MIL's car for a routine oil change... they messed with her tires and some exhaust stuff... who knows WHY, b/c the stuff they messed with was in no way associated with an oil change. DH fixed their screw up and has told her to tell him if work on the car needs to be done.

I needed an alignment done. They said they did it, but the right drift developed a few days after I got the car back. They said they checked the alignment this morning, but I think they are just trying to sell a "vulnerable woman" new tires.
