Poll: Office Etiquette, Stinky Food
1. What stinky food items are your pet peeves when it comes to the office?
2. Are you guilty of bringing any stinky foods to work?
I ask this as I have steamed cabbage heating in the microwave. It didn't occur to me as I was packing leftovers up this morning that it isn't the most courteous food to bring into the office. Then again my only coworker who is here right now brings in tuna, hard boiled eggs, etc. on a weekly basis, and those smell awful! So I don't have a ton of sympathy. I've also been known to microwave popcorn every once in a while. Maybe I'm a bad coworker.

FISH! Tuna, left over fish, anything fishy.
2. Are you guilty of bringing any stinky foods to work?
I am usually heating up either pizza Lean Pockets or Cinnemon Raison bagels. I get a lot of, "Hey, have more? Want to share?" Hehe.
1. My stinky food pp is popcorn! Especially since more often than not people burn it. Thankfully we don't get that too much where I work, but I've been other places where it was horrible.
2. Normally I don't bring anything too smelly to work with me, however today I brought spagetti that is pretty garlicy and I'm sure people are loving me for it. It at least tastes good right ??
I can't stand the smell of reheated fish- it makes my stomach turn. I feel like most of the time everyone but the re-heater feels this way.
Not a fan of cabbage eaither, but I don't think I've ever known anyone to reheat that at work. If DH wants cooked cabbage, he has to make it at work.
I think a break room is for reheating food. If it's spicy, garlicy, whatever- that's the purpose of the room.
I reheat leftovers, usually pretty bland, and sometimes popcorn. I don't reheat anything that I think would really bother anyone.

OMG... Broccoli! my old boss was on a 'broccoli" diet and brought some everyday. It smelled horrible. Tuna usually stinks.
I would take tv dinners to work and heat them...hopefully none of them stunk.
