I've never been good at keeping these during the summer. After the flowers wilt, I don't get many new blooms throughout the summer. Right now I have two in containers and it's been raining a lot these last few weeks so I think that isn't the problem (or maybe it is). I read a little bit on wiki and it says they go in sleep mode. How do I get them to wake up!!!!
Any tips?
Re: osteospermum tips.
You can deadhead the spent flowers, but pp is right--they peter out in the heat.
Plant regular daisies (Leucanthemum) for longer flowering.
sigh. that sucks.
thanks.
