Sob, sob, my air conditioner is dead...
I was upstairs fixing my hair when I heard a boom and my lights flickered. I thought a transformer had blown and was feeling sorry for all the people who must be sweltering without electricity. Then I went downstairs and noticed the house seemed a little warm. Long story short, my central air had blown an breaker and when I turned it back on smoke and oil shot out of the unit. I called DH at work (he happens to be working with a man who does airconditioning repairs). He will be out tomorrow to check it. We may need to get a whole new unit. Ouch, that really hurts after the wedding but I can't go without it because I don't want my animals to roast! I don't mind the heat but my poor dogs hate it! Please keep your fingers crossed for us.

You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
Our unit has a major freon leak. We're getting a whole new unit this week as it is unable to be repaired. Thankfully, we bought a 1 year home warranty so we barely have to pay anything.
I lived in an apartment for 4 years and the air never worked. I would definately slip something nasty in with the rent!
