Need advice from those with bad hips.

I'm horrible at being on top. Mainly because my hips lock up or move to the wrong place leaving me crying in pain. 

Well, I finally found a good position, but I can't go as fast as DH wants. What can I do to help improve his time with me in control? I want to be able to give him what he wants but not doing something that will leave me hurting.

  • I have sciatica on one side and my hip/muscles hurt from time to time, but they never "lock up" like you are describing.

    If he wants it faster and you can't, why not do other things? Reach around to the ballz, suck on his nips, kiss, etc. 

     

  • sex swing has helped.  I broke my hip/pelvis in have pins holding it together, I found the swing helped a lot.

  • I did. A few years ago I rode a pregnant horse bare back and my hip popped out. Now, if I'm in a certain position (sexually mainly) too long it locks up.
  • I have stretched tendons from dancing in high school and my hip cramps a lot too.  I am definitely interested if anyone has found positions that work that don't involve him being on top!
  • Have you tried doing it "doggie-style"  It would stop you from having to spread your legs so wide for sure!

    I absolutely love doggie style. It's my favourite. Sometimes, though, DH really just wants me on top. I have to go so slow though and he asks me to go faster. 

  • Reverse cowgirl in a chair with him lifting you up and down and you holding onto the arm rests?  Or does he just like the idea of the view of you on top?

  • I find reverse cowgirl to be easier on the hips - sometimes mine lock up too.  For the faster problem - make him do the work when he wants to faster.  I'll  kinda of lay on top of him/rest against him and let him do the fast part, you can even stretch your legs out straighter along his so your legs aren't so far apart and make it easier on the hips.
