I'm back!
It was an extremely LONG two weeks of vacation, let me tell you!!! Everything from a Tornado, (a tornado actually touched down less than 10 blocks from where we were staying...we had a portion of a garage door on the front lawn the next morning. Totally INSANE) to oral surgery for me, and then on our flight home, another Thunderstorm passed through as we were boarding the plane, so we were grounded in the plane for over an hour...had do de-board, hang out and then re-board and FINALLY we made it home.
The AHR was AWESOME! I can't believe to tell you how much fun it was. The venue had set up the big white canvas Event Tents on Wednesday and we visited with the owner and went over all the details that evening. Where we wanted the tables set up, the food set up, etc. Thursday evening is when the nasty Tornados hit, so earlier during the day, they took the tent down due to the forcasted 86 to 116 mph winds. On Friday, we went back to the venue and was told that since the weather was going to be nice and sunny on Satruday, they would have the tent put back up early in the morning. Come Saturday, we received a phone call from people who were setting up telling us that the tent was not set up and that they had to improvise and set up under the pavillion. I was quite sad. But oh well.... so........Needless to say, I made use of the big tent that was just LAYING ON THE GROUND...........
Can you all say: HUMONGOUS Slip 'n Slide?!?! Yes!!! I, personally, don't have any pictures, but there were tons of pictures taken and also a couple of videos. As soon as I can get those pictures, I will share them with you.
I'm sad that Laura had JUST left minutes before so she missed out on the fun!
During the time we were gone, we got to celebrate Father's Day and Brian's 50th birthday. It was an eventful vacation to say the least! 
Now to unwind from all of the hoopla and on to cleaning/re-organizing our house!!
