what's on the canada day menu?
Hello ladies! I haven't been on this board in ages.
I've seen all kinds of cute ideas for 4th of July foods, but very few for us Canadians. Anyone have a great dessert that's not the Kraft strawberry canada day cake (I've made that too many times before)?
Re: what's on the canada day menu?
no good question. I don't even know what I'm doing yet to celebrate.
I'm sure there are some yummy Canada day desserts out there.
2 years ago we had a big Canada Day party and this is what we made:

A friend brought strawberry shortcake for dessert.
You could do something like butter tarts, nanaimo bars, a tower of Tim Horton doughnuts (hee hee).
