I have a couple...
I found out my 3 sisters are planning a "sister" trip to Baton Rouge, LA....and I wasn't invited. (One of my sisters lives there, and she's in town this week).
Eric and I presented an idea for a family vacation for of jet skiing, houseboating, and lake fun for next year to my sisters. We would plan it and wanted to see if they were interested. I kid you not it was dead silence. No one want jumped in and liked the idea. It was one of those moments like uh really? A vacation together? Sheer terror on their eyes.
Found out one of my CW's husband passed away from colon cancer this weekend. He was so in love with his wife (my CW) that he left little love notes in her briefcase for her to find.
My 3 sisters have no intention or motivation to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday this weekend as a family. They rather do nothing. I wanted to throw a bbq at my house with everyone but everyone is working or says they have plans already. (Eric & I are sticking to our original plan of taking my mom out to dinner.)
Um yeah, my 3 sisters are brats. And that's me saying something nice about them.
I am soooo sorry!!!! I tried to send lots of positive thoughts your way this past weekend. If you need to talk you know where to find me.
I have HAD it with one set of our neighbors. They have at least 30 people living in ONE house, 5+ cars, loud, pick through garbage, crying baby outside during the day, parking all over the neighborhood, never any parking for people that come over, and they burn their food outside daily. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!!!! Friday night I came home SCREAMING! Art's BFF came over, no where for him to park, I came in the house screaming.
It sounds so un-neighborly, but call the police and ask them what you should do. There may not be anything you can do about the parking if there isn't any assigned parking but there might. And see what kind of noise ordinance there is for your neighborhood and call every time they violate it. I know I hate to call the police on neighbors cause you have to live there and you dont want it to be all uncomfortable, but there comes a point where nice goes out the window.
Krystal - I am sorry that your sisters are being so ugly to you! That makes me sad for you.
I have no siblings, so I can't begin to understand, but I have "friends" that treat me the same way so I can sympathize. I hope things get better!
My Monday vent - I really needed to stay home today. I have a sinus infection and it is killing me. My OB called in some antibiotics for me on Friday, and I have been taking them. But since I'm pregnant I can hardly take anything. Anything I can take isn't very helpful so I have been trying to avoid taking meds. I definately feel better than last week, but it SUCKS not being able to treat the symptoms.
And sleeping on the couch sitting up is getting SO very old. Ok, vent over now.
