I am actually having a baby girl! We went to the radiologist on Friday for an hour long anatomy ultrasound and found out the doctor made his prediction too early (at 16 weeks). Because of the developmental timeline the baby is on, it is hard to accurately determine if the sex of the baby is a boy or girl at 16 weeks (the doc did say he wasn't sure). So a girl it is- the husband and I are shocked!
Re: So the doctor was wrong
Whoa, that's crazy! Guess you've got to return all those little boy clothes now, huh? I know where you can get some super cute booties, though.
So now it's Sophie Adele? I think that was you...

It was me...I love Sophia Adele, but my husband isn't crazy in love with it. We have had such a hard time coming up with names we both like.
So cute!
Wow, that is crazy!
Congratulations again- on your baby girl this time!
How is that pronounced?
Soh chee or Soh chee l (the "L" would be pronounced really softly).
Sofia is number 4 on the SSA most popular names list so we are thinking against it. But Xochitl may just end up being the middle name.
Other names we like:
Cecilia
Leticia
Suggestions?
I've always been a big fan of Veronica, Vanessa, Gabriela, Isabel, Yahaira, and (the real random one) Camille. I also like the original spelling of my name, not monkey.
Congratulatons! I happen to be partial to little girls myself. They grow up to be wonderful daughters, and you get to help plan the weddings!
I like Celia myself. My mother was going to name me Oigandie...that's french (she says) for Eugenia. And, as a former teacher, I really dislike the current trend to spell an average name an odd way just to be different...also any name that is really difficult. Remember that a five year old is going to have to be able to spell/write it, and that you will then have a child who will have to spell their name to people for the rest of their lives...and people will NEVER spell it right.
ok...done with my old fashioned opinions
I like Cecilia!! I used to like Gabriella and Isabella too, but it seems those names (as well as Sophia) are SUPER popular, so those are out (at least for me).
Congrats on Team Pink!!
MY BLOG!
Easily!
And I think Cecilia is adorable. I really love soft super-feminine names.

Nice! Thank heaven for little girls!
I love Cecilia, but that's what Jim and Pam named their daughter on the Office, so it will probably end up being really popular in the next year or two. (The same thing happened with Emma after Rachel had her on Friends.)
I love Cecilia! Congrats on team pink
.
Our girl name was Amelia (although it is also quite popular on the SSA list).

Wow, what a surprise. Lovely name you've picked though and not really common I don't think.
Soooo when do we start planning the wedding for Angela's son and your daughter?
CONGRATS!!!
That would be absolutely hilarious. I suppose we just never know
