As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. It's been asked millions of times...
but what are the steps for legally changing your name in NJ? I have googled it and I can't find a definitive answer. I'm pretty sure I go to Social Security first and then DMV and then do credit cards and banking-is that right?

Since I've done this twice now ;-)
Go to SS, all you need is your marriage license to get it changed.
Take you marriage license, birth certificate, proof of residence and whatever else to get to the points # to DMV (I found out with my divorce cert that had both names on it, I didn't have to wait till a bill came in my new name...)
The CCs and bills are just phone calls, they don't even need any proof (well, except my school loans, they wanted a copy of the marriage license)
Just a heads up: the SS office in Mt. Holly had me in and out in 10 minutes. I've heard horror stories of hours long waiting times at the Cherry Hill office.
