This is completely non-ER, but do you know of any shoe designers/brands that tend to run narrow? I have narrow feet, and I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit. I've searched on-line for narrow widths, but they're not very common. It seems like Stewart Weitzman makes a lot of narrow shoes, so that may be an option, but I'm kind of balking at spending $275 on a pair of shoes.

But if I do end up buying the $275 shoes, do you have any tips on how to take care of them so they last for longer than one season?

  • Sorry, I have regular-width feet, so I don't pay attention to narrow shoe brands.  :-  So often people are looking for the opposite!

As for upkeep, just find a good cobbler.  I've had my Louboutin's re-heeled twice now.  I bought them in May.  To be fair, I got one stuck in a grate shortly after the first re-heeling, which is why I had to get them re-heeled again.  I'm pretty rough on my shoes.  But hey, they're meant to be worn!

Love what I see by Sewart Weitzman, though.  Go try some one in a store, and if they fit well, check on Bluefly for some deals.

  • Yeah, I have odd feet... they're only naturally slim part of my body. :)

Good idea about trying them on in the store first... even if they don't have narrow widths in-store, I may be able to get a general idea of sizing. I'm in love with this pair now.

  • ooo, love the heels!  We're seeing a lot of fun things going on with heels for spring...which is odd b/c you'd expect to see more classics as fewer people will be buying.  Who knows.... but those are gorgeous.
