Kirby Grill and Rosebud

Do either of these places have outdoor seating?

Re: Kirby Grill and Rosebud

  • Rosebud has outdoor seating, but it is just tables out on the sidewalk.  Kirby Grill has sidewalk seating and "the card room" which is not technically outdoor, but there are huge windows and a nice view of the channel.  K2 (Kriby's pizza place on the roof) has rooftop outdoor seating.

  • We went to Grand Haven just before Allison was born. It was our last child-free date night. We were going to go to Kirby but the wait was too long and the hostess was a snot so Brian got mad and left .  We went to the place next to Dee-Lite and sat at their side-walk seating.

Allison was born five days later. With Amelia we went to GH to walk the pier because it was a really nice day out (mid-October). I went into labor the next day.

    Something about GH.

  • I don't know if you are dead set on going to one of these restaurants, but there is a good Italian restaurant around there I think. I ate there probably about 6 years ago.

  • Oh by the way, I don't go off on tangents.....ever.   Embarrassed
  • I'm asking for a coworker who is interested in outdoor seating if it's an option.  Those are the only two restaurants I've eaten at that I could personally recommend. Thx for the input.

Portobello's?  We ate there once and weren't impressed.  I think it is overpriced for the quality of the food.

If you are open to other places, Snug Harbor has by far the best outdoor seating in Grand Haven, IMO.

I totally agree. But I love the Kirby's rooftop deck as well.

The Pavilion also has limited outdoor seating along Washington Avenue, and it has good food. Portobello has a large patio, but the food did not impress me.

I'm so glad you feel this way about Portobello.  It seems that everyone loves it.
