T&P Needed
So DH gets to go on a work trip....to Texas to deal with the hurricane! He's an insurance adjuster for a major insurance company and he got picked to be a catastrophe adjuster. He leaves tomorrow at 6AM and will be gone for about two weeks.
I know they will keep him out of danger as much as possible, but it's still a little freaky thinking he's going in, when everyone else is evacuating.
I'm not worried, but just bummed that we have to cancel our 4th of July plans.

Good luck to him, hopefully the storm won't be too bad that and there isn't too much damage.

I didn't know they would send in adjusters before the hurricane even hit. Interesting. I suppose that makes sense though.
Sorry to hear that he'll be gone for awhile, and over a holiday nonetheless. That stinks.

Yeah, our plans were to go to his family reunion, so I will represent our "branch" of the family.

Part of the reason he is going now is so that they can get supplies ready, but also so they can still fly in before the airport closes.
We'll be thinking of you! My hubby is an insurance adjuster too and dodged having to go.
