poll, re: email from ex-coworker
My husband just got this email from a female ex-coworker, who he was not close with. Weird or nice?
me and [other female ex-coworker] miss u, big time. your rare kindness, and sensitivity has made it possible for me to believe that there are some good men still out there. working with the guys my whole life, i forget sometimes how to maintain a healthy ballance of strength and sensitivity. You have both. I am glad that u can be still enraged at injustice, when these days people just accept the unacceptable. it is your humanity that makes you a truly beautiful human being. u r truly an inspiration
Re: poll, re: email from ex-coworker
I vote weird.
Did he respond? I would ignore it.
Happy Easter
My Blog
First off, I agree with pp that this was weird and inappropriate (I think I even said "this is weird" as I was reading it). Although there is nothing overt or sexual about it - it is just strange to say those kind of things to someone you don't know that well, imo.
Secondly, I do not get women who do these kinds of things (more so the throwing themselves at married men, not so much the email above). It is just something I never really understood, although I assume it has something to do with insecurity and attention-seeking.
