So what has been your best birthday for you. What has been your worst.
By far, mine was my 30th. Brian and I went to San Fran for the week. The day of my b-day we went to a Giant Baseball game and then we went to Ruth Chris steak house. Afterwards we went back to our hotel room and opened a bottle of wine that we got on tour earlier that week.
It was so nice to celebrate with just Brian.
My worst was my 22nd b-day. I just started a new job so nobody knew it was my b-day. I didn't hear from family or friends. The person said something to me was the lady at the tanning salon when I checked in at 8pm (yes, I was bad and went to a tanning salon).
Re: What has been your best birthday?
Last year, my 28th. We went to New Orleans and I was reunited with my husband who had been in Cali for a month.
I don't know what my worst birthday was. I can't really remember any particularly bad ones. My 27th birthday was spent traveling home from St. Vincent. Most of my birthday was spent in Barbados, so I can't really complain, but it was a super long day. We were up by 4 a.m. to get to the airport and didn't get back home to our place until 2 a.m. the next day.
17th bday, my mom made meatloaf. My parents went out to their weekly singing group while I baby-sat my sisters.
I hate meatloaf.
Every other bday aside from that has been pretty darn good.

Hmmm I dunno what my best birthday has been - you have me thinking. 29 and 30 were decent. On 29th, I had the day off so a friend of mine went and worked out, went out to eat, got our nails done, and did some shopping. On my 30th, a few days before, had a small get together at my friend's house and then a few of us went to the bar, which was kinda lame but oh well. On my actual 30th, Mike surprised with ballons, piece of cake with candle in it, and a gift card to a favorite store. And I got nice stuff from other people too,
My worst birthdays were the ones at home growing up and when I didn't have any at all as a child.
The first one that comes to mind as far as my best birthday was my 25th. DH and I both took the day off of work and we spent the day at the beach in Grand Haven. It was wonderful.
I can't think of a birthday that was bad. My 16th birthday was my weirdest because I didn't spend it with my family. It's a long story, but I was enjoying an extended stay with my friend and her aunt's family in TC. It was kind of an awkward birthday because I was staying with a different family that I didn't know very well. But my friend and I went parasailing for my birthday and that was awesome.
I also can't think of a birthday that was bad. My best friend growing up actually had the same birthday as me and on a couple of the years I couldn't go to her birthday party because our family bday party for me would be on the same day. That would make me upset, but I'm sure I had a great time at my family party anyways.
Nothing really stands out for best either - one day I'll usually get together with friends for drinks and another day Andy and I will travel to breweries and/or have a nice dinner. Nothing crazy but I love it.
I'll let you know after Friday
:P
Best is hard to say, I've got quite a few that stand out.
Worst has to be my 10th. I was up at a church camp, 7 hours from my parents. The night of my birthday I fell off the top bunk and onto the hard floor. Funny part of it is that I didn't wake up
The next day I broke my arm. So that sucked.
I got a puppy on my birthday when I was 10.
Jim suprised me by joining my friends and I at dinner (driving from his work in Brooklyn, MI in the middle of the week) on my 30th birthday.
I had a 3 week old and was floating on awesomeness and hormones on my 31st birthday.
I'm calling it a tie.
I had a lot of stressful birthdays in college. Late April = finals week.
