This entire case is so bizarre...I mean, who does that? And she still claims her innocence thru all of this. Really now?

I think the system failed us when they gave her the 5 year sentence! Then on top of that- she's an idiot for appealing it! I can't believe that the prosecution is only going for probation or 10 years for 'tampering with evidence'!! This just bothers me and then to see cheesing like she is in the picture below when she is on her way into the courtroom....

I've followed this case since the beginning. I think this chick is just as dangerous if not more than Colton Pitonyak. At least he has drugs and alcohol to blame. Hall is just sick in the head. For those that are not familiar with the case "tampering with evidence" = she cut up the victims body to try to cover up the murder. I think it's sick that mutilating a body is only "tampering with evidence". I had no idea the prosecutions was only going for probation.

Ok, I might have got that wrong. I think the 10 years is what the prosecutors want and her defense team is pushing for probation....I can't find the article that said it at the moment.

What freaks me out is that I've met Colton before. **shudder** He'd often show up at parties at our (my best friend's and my) place and even at one (luckily not at our place) had pulled a knife on someone. We lived in a duplex right on campus near the frat houses.

If anyone wants to follow the trial live online, news 8 has a reporter in the courtroom. They're playing the jailhouse calls. A highlight a few minutes ago when Hall threatened to kill her mom while on a phone call from jail.
