Hi ladies, I am looking for doctor recommendations for LASIK eye surgery in Austin. (On the same note, please share any bad experiences you had with a doctor.) TIA!

    I had mine done at Mann Eye and had a great experience.  Their staff is great - made me feel completely comfortable the entire time.  Dr. Stern is the doc who did my procedure.  No complaints at all!

    Ditto the rec for Mann Eye, although my doctor was Dr. Paul Mann.  (He's the younger Dr. Mann, and I'm not sure if he still practices in Austin.)

    Mann eye is great.  My DH, however, had his done at a similar place in Dallas and it was over $1K cheaper.  My BIL had this done at the same place.  My MIL still lives there so they had it done over Christmas vacay and had a place to stay, etc.  If you can get it done in Dallas or Houston I think it'd be a ton cheaper.  Otherwise, Mann is the place to go in Austin.
