What do you have on your walls in your living room/family room/great room? Do you have something above a couch? Something above or next to the TV? What about the fireplace?

Re: non-clicky poll: What do you have on your walls in the living room?
Right now all we have is a framed vintage opera poster print above the fireplace along with a vase of berries on branches, short pillar candles, and a framed photo of DH's mom sitting below/in front of the framed poster on the mantle.
We definitely will need to get something for over the sofa. The ceilings are vaulted so that wall is tall and angled. Trying to decide if I want to do framed photos or a larger canvas or canvases.
I would like something on the TV wall as well since that whole wall is electronics (normal ceiling height on this side). We're probably going to wall-mount the flat screen tv as well and unfortunately that wall will probably be the focus of the room the way everything has to be placed. DH is against having stuff on that wall, but I'm afraid it'll look too empty and weird with just the TV on it....

We have a theme of New York pictures in our living room. Above our sofa is a painting of the Empire State Building, above the tv is a painting of the Brooklyn Bridge, and above the fireplace is a picture of Central Park. We got engaged in New York, so it's a special place to us.
Also on the mantle of the fireplace we have a few framed pictures of us, family, and friends.
Above the couch we have a large splatter painting that we did with some friends. Above the fireplace we have a 20x30 photo in a frame that we rotate out depending on my mood. All the photos are landscape or flower ones that we have taken. Above the tv, we have a frame with four photos in it.
Oh, and on the mantle, we used to have photos, but now we have some vases and a clock.

our couch 'floats' in the room so nothing behind it.
our tv is pushed up against some (non-usable) built in shelves. We do have a few vases/decorative glasses on the top two shelves that show above the tv - but nothing large and nothing to 'take away' from DH's pride and joy.
we have four photos from austin in the 1920-1940s on the wall to the left of the couch/tv. they take up a large amount of the wall (they're at about 2 feet long/wide per photo - then matted and framed so they ended up being really substantial).
the dining room is kind of an open area to the right of the living area and we have wedding photos on that wall to the right of the couch and right next to the table. There are 6 framed photos and our canvas.
We also have two tall standing lamps on either side of the tv stand (and each are in front of a window)
"The House We Built."
A journey of building the dream.
We live in am apartment so the wall space is a little more limited...
Above the couch: Picture from our wedding day. We really have no where else to put this yet
On other walls: 2 Toulouse-Lautrec framed prints, Celtic cross and small framed pictures
