Re: **Heather**
thanks for thinking about me, I'm doing ok - it was a little overwhelming the past week - I had a huge project going out at work so I came home and went straight back to work. my grandma is doing pretty good all things considered, her condition is terminal, but the dr's are saying she may have another month or so. it was really good to get to see her and talk to her, my dad and I both made our peace which I think we both needed to do.
I'm hoping to spend some time with hubs and the boys this week - having a fourth of July cook out at our house this weekend w/ my BIL and his family, should be fun now that RI mad some fireworks legal. I'll try to pop in more now that things are settling down. I'm going to have to read back to see what you ladies have been up to.
oh and hubs won his unemployment appeal - we never did get an answer for why he was let go, but he is getting 3.5 months of back unemployment, so that's a good thing - he's all set to start school in the fall, so we can relax a little this summer.
I'm really glad everyone was able to make peace. It really shouldn't be any other way. I hope that she isn't in too much pain though.
So glad your hubby got his unemployment. Even though it's not full pay at least it's something and he can go back to school. I hope work picks back up for you too. I know RI is a lot different than VA but we aren't really seeing a rise in construction at all. Commercial was booming and it seems to be slowing down a little too.
