question for grammer buffs....
is it:
To Whom It May Concern:
To whom it may concern:
To Whon it May Concern:
Other?
We ask this question all the time in our office and never know the proper way to write it.
Re: question for grammer buffs....
I'll preface by stating that I am not a grammar buff.
I say this:
To Whom It May Concern:
But when closing, only capitalize the first word:
Best regards,
I believe the most proper is:
To Whom It May Concern
but I believe that "To whom it may concern" is somewhat acceptable also. It's almost like, "Whom It May Conern" is their title, like, Project Manager or Senior Accountant. So you would want to capitalize each word.
