Topic to discuss/poll-ish

So while I was lurking, I found this ^. It's made me wonder about any of you.
Have/Would you ever wait a specific amount of time before telling your SO if you were KU (even if you were not trying/don't want kids)?
What is something that you have not told your SO right away (not that you never had the intention of ever telling)?
Do you have anything that you don't have the intention of telling your SO? If so what?
Re: Topic to discuss/poll-ish
my attempt to liven up the board. I hope it works
Have/Would you ever wait a specific amount of time before telling your SO if you were KU (even if you were not trying/don't want kids)? If I found out at work, then I'd likely wait to say someting to him in person when I got home. Otherwise, I'd tell him right away
What is something that you have not told your SO right away (not that you never had the intention of ever telling)? When I'm not feeling well... I'm stubborn and try to make it through, but then cave and tell him.
Do you have anything that you don't have the intention of telling your SO? If so what? I was wondering if my feeling ill was due to possibly being KU, I took a test and it was negative so I went on my merry way. DH noticed that one in the box was gone, so I "fessed" to my paranoia. Strangely, he sounded slightly disappointed when I told him the result. Didn't help my baby feaver.
can't really answer any of this....in regards to being ku...if i was ku, i would either be having an affair or carrying baby jesus...
i don't really keep anything from dh anyways. i am not embarassed or worried about anything i do. and if dh found out about anything i haven't told him, he doesn't care anyways.
Okay, I guess I can see why she would want to wait until after the first tri to make sure it's official; however, I would want my H/SO to know so if anything were to happen, we would go through it together. Even if nothing were to happen and it turned out great, I'd still want to go through it and experience it together. So, yes, I would tell him immediately!
The others I can't really answer....I pretty much tell him anything and everything. He is my best friend. I don't recall keeping anything from him, nor would I (unless it were a surprise/gift for him)!
I'm with Noelle on this. If I was KU I would also be having Jesus.
I don't keep anything from him, We can't keep secrets. This past Christmas was the first year that we waited to give each other our gifts. I only waited because I had it shipped to my parents house. We just get so excited to share our news.
Ditto. And I'm just terrible at keeping secrets in general.
I waited a few hours to tell DH that I was KU b/c I found out at work. I called him a few times through out the day with random questions and I wanted to tell him but thought it should be done in person (especially b/c it was quite the surprise).
I see why you would wait until after 1st tri to tell OTHER people but why your DH???? What if something does go badly, are you going to tell DH your pg in one breath and in the next that you lost the baby? I can't believe she would deny her husband celebrating being a father for weeks!
Have/Would you ever wait a specific amount of time before telling your SO if you were KU (even if you were not trying/don't want kids)? I'd maybe wait until we were in the same room, I guess (as opposed to over the phone) but he'd know within a few hours of when I know.
What is something that you have not told your SO right away (not that you never had the intention of ever telling)? I can't think of anything important I'd hold off on telling him.
Do you have anything that you don't have the intention of telling your SO? If so what? I'm blank. DHs on a need-to-know basis with pretty much everything.
Call me Kat =^..^=
Have/Would you ever wait a specific amount of time before telling your SO if you were KU (even if you were not trying/don't want kids)? um, waiting is INSANE. i think i'll be kinda paranoid telling EVERYONE in my life until after the first trimester...but not the baby's DAD for crying out loud.
What is something that you have not told your SO right away (not that you never had the intention of ever telling)? well...i have totally found the way i WANT to tell him we're having a baby, once we decide to start trying...i figure i'll order it asap, and have it...so it'll be at the ready.
i'm also a compulsive over-sharer. DH isn't really...so i grill him about stuff just cuz i'm nosy nosy.
Do you have anything that you don't have the intention of telling your SO? If so what? well speaking of babies...i'm a weirdo, and have convinced myself i'm PG about 5 times...because AF is A FEW HOURS LATE. seriously, it's totally weird...and i don't want DH to know i'm so pregnant-paranoid.

THIS.
I can't hide anything from DH. He knows me inside and out. There isn't anything I would want to keep from him. The only thing I kept from him was when I did B pics for him for Christmas. I kept that secret for over a month and it was hard!
If we were KU, I would wait until we were together to tell him, but it would definitely be the same day. I would probably wait for him to get home before I even POAS.
hahaha, glad to know it's not just me!!! i'm just so curious about his life before me, and all sorts of things...

Have/Would you ever wait a specific amount of time before telling your SO if you were KU (even if you were not trying/don't want kids)? I would wait until we were in the same room...err, if I could wait THAT long, however in this situation, I could likely find enough restraint.
What is something that you have not told your SO right away (not that you never had the intention of ever telling)? Uh, "suprise" mom's coming to visit in a month. or eh, things that I just forget b/c I don't find them signifigant until they are relevant. like I knew a month ago that I had to work an event tonight. I know I mentioned the event to him, but didn't remind him I had to attend until monday.
Do you have anything that you don't have the intention of telling your SO? If so what? No. I can't keep secrets from him period. Even if they aren't secrets.
haha the cause of most of our disagreements is because he's had a bad day and just wants to shut down and not talk and all I want to do is talk. I'm alone all day for crying out loud!
amen!! i'm on day 5...and with only the dogs to talk to all day, i NEEEEEEEEEED human interaction. pretty sure i won't be able to be a SAHM one day,

H and I have agreed that I will NEVER be a SAHM because I would go stir-crazy. I never realized how chatty I was until I couldn't talk all day
