My strep is back...

As some of you may remember, I came down with strep 2 days after the wedding. Well, after the strep was "gone" I never could get rid of the chest congestion. Well, I woke up this morning to a sore "throat" on the soft pallete on the roof of my mouth. Well, it's strep!

    Man! That stinks! Tell your doc to up your antibiotic strength and leave you on them slightly longer than before. You probably didn't get rid of all the Strep bacteria from before. I hope you get to feeling better soon! Ive never had it but I've heard its no fun!

    Boo. :( I had strep in high school once. They gave me penicillin... which is how we found out that I'm allergic to penicillin... That was a fun couple of weeks. Hopefully they'll switch you to a different antibiotic!

    Yeah, I am allergic to penicillin, too. They had me on a zpack AND gave me a shot when I got it in May. This time I'm on a 10 day dosage (1000 mg a DAY!) of Cipro so I hope it kicks it!
