Hi Ladies! Things have been busy at home so i'm now getting around to post! I've been spending as much time as I can w/ Jameson! He's awesome!
Here's our birth story!
So Wednes I woke up to a bloody show and felt off started having some contractions about every 5 mins so i called the dr and he told me to come on in and to take my time i was probably in early labor but wanted to check me out anyway. Cory and I went to Walmart to get a memory card for our video camera and headed to the hospital. I was checked and was 2-3 centimeters only. Dr said nurses begged her to ask me if I wanted pitocin since today was going to be crazy i said yes! We started pitcoin at 8:30 and the contractions started right away and i was progressing quickly. I think they broke my water at about 9 the day was flying by. Contractions started coming quickly and they hurt like hell! I was already 6 centimeters having a contraction every 2 mins for 1 min each. Nurse said I could have some morphine but b/c they were so intense we went right to an epi! the epi hurt but it was heaven!
Cory kept watching the monitor and saying oh that was a big contraction i was like yeah no biggie! my mood was so much better i was having conversations and quite pleasant! I had predicted that Jameson was going to be born by 4:30 at 3 I took a nap and at 3:30 we knew it was getting close to pushing time. At 4 I started pushing and he was born at 4:27. I was surprised that I felt his head coming out and I asked them to place him on my belly b/c I wanted him (something I had said i def didn't want to do) He is just perfect and I'm so in love! The nurses and dr were so surprised I got him out as quick as I did seeing as it normally takes 2 hours to push.
He's 19 inches long 6 lbs 9.5 oz he's a little peanut. He was latching pretty good but I'm having some issues so now were bottle feeding and i'm pumping w/ a hospital pump to see if my milk will come in b/c my reduction could be screwing up my milk supply.
Hubby and I love him to pieces and it's so amazing how much nothing else matters besides your little family.
