Anyone else allergic to....
condoms?? If you hate TMI, probably shouldn't read on.
I'm trying to figure out if my issue is related to the condoms or just the timing in the month that we're doing it. Monday was fine but tonight, seriously OUCH. I had a lot of issues with the few types of BC I had tried so I'm not on anything at this point- this is our only method of prevention.

Re: Anyone else allergic to....
My brother had a gf who had a latex allergy. They had to use lamb skin or polyurethane.
Do you use latex at work and have any issues? (like gloves?)

I don't think it's the latex because you said one night it was fine and then another it wasn't.

This is just a guess, but I'm thinking it might have to do with the time of the month and the position of your cervix. When we were on condoms, I found that right after my AF the condoms were seriously uncomfortable to me and it wasn't uncommon at that time for it to get sort of stuck between the vaginal wall and my cervix and I would have to go in an fish the damn thing out. Got to the point where we just didn't use them for about 3-5 days after AF.
I just thought of another thing.
Could it be a umm lube issue?
I had that and poor DH we didn't have sex for like 3 or 4 months while I was figureing the damn thing out. I went on Estrogen Therapy (all the the phamphlets has ladies in their 60's on it) and finally I just went off BC and we've been umm monitoring the situation. I still have a hard time but it's been getting better the last 6 months or so (since I went off BC). I'm still not "normal" but we've been adjusting.
Good call!! I have issues too when I'm on BC where I will need to use lube to help make it comfortable. It can make a WORLD of difference.
I'm not so sure it's a lube issue because the kind we use has spermicide on it which usually serves as plenty of lube.
I did just finish AF.....and I guess Monday night I was still in that time and then the next day it finished up. So yesterday I was right out of it. Hmmm. It'd just be nice to figure this out because it HURTS! Maybe more of a burn, but still not exactly comfy.
