If you're selling your dress...
How do you plan on doing it? I posted mine on trash to treasure, but it's kinda slow over there. Just wondering how the rest of you were doing it
Re: If you're selling your dress...
I am selling my dress on preownedweddingdresses.com I've gotten a few inquiries and i've only had it up for a few weeks. I have it so the buyer pays for shipping so I dont really care who buys it.
I think posting it on your local craigslist/newspaper is also a good idea.
There are several sites where you can donate your dress for charity. I don't know if those would interest you. One is Brides Against Breast Cancer another is Animal Kind.
Same here... except it will gather dust in the guest room closet. And my daughter will probably take after her daddy and be a big beefy girl who will tower over me and laugh at little me and my little dress.
I would have totally worn my grandma's if she hadn't thrown it out without consulting me (this was before Matt came onto the scene), so I feel like there's a possibility someone might want it someday.
hahaha ya'll crack me up! I know I would have NEVER worn my mom's dress, but she kept it for me. Silly girl.
I've donated big time to the American Cancer Society ever since my dad was diagnosed and passed away.... but I think I'm going to sell the dress.
I considered keeping it... and even ran away from the drycleaners when I couldn't make a decision on whether or not to preserve it, but after weighing the options, selling it just seems to make more sense at this point. Thank God for thousands of wedding pictures of me in it, huh?
