F/U to DH's surgery
I know most of you probably saw my FB update earlier, but for those that didn't and were wondering, his surgery went great. The surgeon was very impressed w/ how well he has healed. His bone healed almost too well, the end of one of the screws broke off b/c the bone is holding it so tight and another screw got stripped because of the strength of the bone. He left the tip of the broken screw in b/c he didn't want to bore an even bigger hole and DH will never even notice it's there. DH is doing great, a little sore and I'm fairly certain he's enjoying the extra attention 
I figured I better be extra nice today b/c he's home the next 2 days by himself.

Have you made chicken noodle soup yet?
So glad that everything went good. I am still cringing from thinking about the screw breaking him being cut on period...I'm such a wimp when it comes to stuff like this! And I admire every nurse, doctor, EMT, etc...because I don't see how they do it!
