Those pandora bracelets?
They were heavily advertised during Mother's Day and I think the whole marketing campaign was really interesting because I think it really made you think you NEEDED it. And then they lock you into buying more beads in the future.
I am still personally obsessed with Viva Beads and wouldn't think of even getting one of those Pandora bracelets.
Re: What do you think of...
I'm not really a fan. The beads seem really over priced in my opinion. I can get the whole look for $35 with a premade bracelet. I don't wear a lot of bracelets in general though.
Now that I'm looking at the Viva website, I really it. I really like this watch:

Yeah, I'm not into them either based on style. It seemed like a marketing gimmick, like this was the best gift for mom EVER. I think I saw them around Christmas too. What they don't tell you is that they are incredibly expensive to fill with beads. You could spend about $2K filling those suckers up with the expensive, authentic Pandora beads if you wanted to. I could find something way nicer for that amount of money. I don't even think they look that cool, although my coworker does have a really nice one she put together.
My MIL has one, and I was looking for a Grandma charm, and I think the Pandora charms are $250.00. There are prob less expensive versions out there, but I said "no way" about buying one. She's on her own if she wants that charm. haha.
I know!!! I have a coworker that got one of those pandoras and she kind of looks down on my Viva beads. But I could care less. Those beads make me so happy I am completely oblivious. And I think Viva was out WAYYY before the Pandora was. I just find it interesting how successful that Pandora campaign was and how it locked people into spending more money in the future. I'll do the same with Viva but I'm not cornered into buying more of them.
They just have so much character! I love this! I love the colors. I think it fits your style really well. GET IT!
I love that watch too! Damn you, Wop and Tigers! I can't be spending money!
Tell your husband you want this bracelet and in return, you'll give him a baby
Ha, no kidding! He should throw in an Audi A4 too. yeahright.
you is crazy! At this point, both of those things would be a gift for me. DH is perfectly happy as is. He'd only agree to another to keep me happy I think...
My SIL is crazy into it and is convincing my MIL to buy her beads. :-/
MIL asked if I was getting into it too and I was like um no, I have more important things to spend my money on. But then I rarely wear bracelets - they bug me when I'm trying to type all day.
This statement is not intended to offend anyone: I see it as a fad for older ladies (like 40+). Not my style.
They had knock offs in Grand Cayman for a 1/3 of the price that looked the same, if not better.
