David doesn't understand the concept of sand
He has a water table thing that has two dividers. One for sand and the other side for water. Last year we did all water (with the belief he woul dnot keep the two separate). Crazy me thinks he could do that properly this year, DH does not. Nope, all the sane has since been dumped into the water side and he wants all water and not sand. DH +1 Me 0.

He's just a little water baby! Does he have a little pool?
He does. It's his baby pool from last year. we went to a birthday party this past weekend and they had a bigger kids pool and he just stood in there and then wanted out. It was "too cold" according to him.
I'm going to set up the little pool this weekend (it's been a tad cool this week but supposed to warm up this weekend). IF he does fine with it again, we'll get him a bigger one.
The thing is, he likes to put dirt in the water or just his toys while he's standing on the outside.
Long story short, he loves playing with water, not necessarily in it.
Declan does like sand either (which is fine with me since it gets everywhere!) and would much rather have water.
You would have never known that David just wanted all water unless you tried though
Unfortunately I did not get a picture of the sand and water mixing project. I was in a time crunch with work, so I just let him make a mess and cleaned it up later.
I did, however, get pictures of the aftermath of him rippping all the flowers out of the flower pot. Those are on FB.
