    I love fireworks so IMO it's a great idea Stick out tongue we are thinking of going to coney island on Sat for the balloon glow (starts around 5:00) then staying for the fireworks around 10:00.  Sunday we are thinking of going to Reading (Koenig Park) fireworks.  I always went to Reading as a kid (not sure why) and have always enjoyed it.  They have a little festival going on and it's never overly crowded as some of the bigger parks (i.e coney island) can be.  Both are free.

    We are going with some friends to the CAC to see the Shepherd Fairey exhibit and having dinner at Nada (we have a GC, if not we'd probably go to Senate or Lavomatic's rooftop).  The exhibit is here only through the beginning of August, so it'd be a great time to go! 

    The weekend Metromix just came out and has listings for fireworks displays all over the city- if you like fireworks, find a cool place to go watch and take a little picnic dinner.

    We are going down to Lake Cumberland. But if we were to stay here we would go to Red White and Blue Ash. They put on a free concert (this year is Yes and Peter Frampton) Rozzi's also puts on fireworks. It's at a new location this year so I don't know how it will turn out. It's going to be on the corner of Glendale-Milford and Reed Hartman. It's like a festival too, so there will be food and beer.

    Grilling out with friends and family is always my fav. thing to do the weekend of the 4th. :) Have friends and family over and relax!

    I think we're going to do a picnic dinner and see fireworks at Ault Park.  The Tea Party is organizing it but according to this article there is not going to be any political activity there.  We'll see...

    Well, my plan is to convince (or threaten) Mr. Dave to do some serious cleaning/organizing of his clutter around the house now that he has Saturday off.  That plan might not fly with Mr. Notta though!  Oh, and the new Twilight move-but Mr. Dave actually likes those movies more than I do so he probably won't need much convincing.
