Dear Nicole,
If you give your baby a latina name, please don't move to anglo-country (ie, the midwest). I say this based on personal experience.
I received mail this morning (actually this happens at least once a week) that had "Attn: munkii" on the outside, but the person wrote "To whom it may concern" on the letter. It's that or people changing my name to Jessica. So sorry my name doesn't fall into your range of "normal" names! (That's directed the the letter senders, not you.)

Sounds like you need to move to CA where white folk like me are nearly a minority.
I can imagine how frustrating it is to have your name butchered, regardless of ethnic background.

This is partially why we chose Liam (we actually couldn't agree on any Hispanic first names)...my grandmother can't even say Alejandro, which I think is really quite a common name that most white people know. Perhaps Lady Gaga will assist us there. Sucky when people butcher beautiful names, though. And your name is beautiful, Munkii.
I LOVE all of the girl names you have picked out, Nicole, I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.
