Insurance/Atlanta Women's Healthcare drama update
So, I just talked to them again. The doctor OK'd them sending the account to collections so they're keeping it there. Despite the fact that I have a second level appeal pending that they assisted with.
I am absolutely mortified.
I wouldn't recommend this women's group to my worst enemy. Dealing with them has been a nightmare.
If you go to Atlanta Women's Healthcare or Atlanta OBGYN I highly recommend switching immediately because they'll screw you.

Did you see the *** episode of Southpark? you should have totally done that to your doctor.
I didn't see that one. The crazy thing is that the doctor that authorized collections has never met me. I don't know her, she doesn't know me. A flippin' physician's assistant performed the procedure in appeal.
The collection agency said that I can "set up a payment plan of next to nothing a month" while the appeal is still going on to keep it from appearing on my credit report. So nice of them but I'll have to do that. I have great credit and I'm not going to let this screw it up.
There's a special place in hell...

I'm considering another OBGYN after my visit with AWH last year when the doc gave me a dirty look and said that I'd probably change my mind about not wanting kids.
yea.. thanks, b/c I don't get that enough from other people, I really want my doc to question my choice too.
