We probably say it a million times too. After each conversation, either on the phone or IM, morning, at night, random times throughout the day. I just wanted to make sure we weren't obsessive and the only ones who say it so many times.

we probably say it at least once a day at random times. i don't like the idea of saying it as a habit (i.e. ending a call, msg, etc.). b/c then i feel like the words come out without thought. but if they are more random then you stop and think about what you are saying and it's much more special. but of course, that is just my opinion and i could see both sides to that.

We say it occasionally when hanging up the phone and when snuggling up. I'd guess maybe once/day or possibly less. We just don't feel the need to say it all the time. There's definitely no hurt feelings of "you don't say I love you enough" or anything like that. Actions speak louder than words and we just "do."

I think we joke around more. We do goofy stuff and follow it with "you love me," which is always followed with "I do - I don't know why." It's just our thing. I guess we share our "I love you's" in different ways.

same!! we say it randomly 2-4 times a day but i dont want to say it out of habit.

same!! we say it randomly 2-4 times a day but i dont want to say it out of habit.

Same with us too, we dont want to say it out of habit. We say it about 2-5 times a day.

We say all the time. We have a rule that we cannot go to bed angry and he cannot go work angry at each other. In his career, I couldn't fathom losing him and we were in a fight. We say it at the end of every phone conversation and when saying good bye or goodnight. But it's always just I love you, not with the too.

I am the same as Champagne and Mandy. We say it probably 3-7 times per day, but we like to keep it random to help keep it from being just another thing people say without thinking about it. Needless to say, I do things for DH that show him I love him without saying it...like scratching his back and rubbing his feet, etc...
