I'm excited and can't tell anyone!
On my way home from work Tuesday night it dawned on me that I was late (as in Aunt Flo hadn't come to visit yet). When I got home I checked my planner and realized that it was currently day 38! I ran upstairs and woke Nick up to tell him. He was all excited and wanted to go to the store right then for a pregnancy test. We decided to wait until the next day and I'd pick one up since I was going grocery shopping anyway.
Long story short (kind of), I came home, took the test and called Nick at work to tell him we need to revisit our budget because WE'RE PREGNANT with baby #2!!!
With our 1st pregnancy we told everyone we knew the day we found out. This time around we've agreed to wait until I've been to the doctor to confirm (even though I'm pretty sure the 2 at home tests pretty well confirmed it) before we tell our parents and siblings.
I'm super excited but really nervous at the same time. I know people do it every day (have more than one kid), but I'm already worrying about how our little man is going to handle it.
Anyway, I'm having a hard time concentrating at work because I'm wanting to spill the news to everyone. I figure it's safe to tell you girls!

Ahh congratulations! How exciting for you! It is so normal to be nervous about how DC #1 will react, but be confidant that it will be so good for him to have a sibling. He will have the opportunity to learn more about love, sharing, and empathy. You and Nick will do great!!
