XP: ID this flower please!??!
This grew in my flower bed and appears to be a perennial that the previous owner had......it bloomed today into a gorgeous purple flower! More buds to come as you can see. Anybody know what it is?!? (PS, XP this in D&R and G&L!)

Balloon flower was my first thought too, before even reading the others.
Do the flowers form a little 'balloon' before opening? If so, that's what it is.
That's my favorite perennial!
