    good morning. we used to get to leave early for holidays but that never happens anymore. im not sure i even care bc i get here at 730 while a lot of other people get here around 11-11:30 so i always felt "ripped off" when they closed the office early.

    My parents are leaving today after my mom gets off work instead of tomorrow morning, so DH and I get to wait up until 3-4 AM for them to arrive. I'm so excited to see them that I don't mind :)

    Morning!  The day before a major holiday weekend can go either way for us in the divorce business--sometimes it's a ghost town and we leave early and sometimes that's when "emergencies" such as fights over who gets the holiday weekend emerge with frantic calls from the driveway at the exchange.

     Ha Ha! I know exactly how that goes unfortunately! They read those settlement agreements wrong or they mess up the weekends and fall off track. Luckily, I took day off and am working Monday. The boss scheduled a mediation at our office on Monday, so it should be a rather quiet day.
