So where did you go on your honeymoon?
For those who went on one, where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went to Cozumel for a week. (waited a month after the wedding). We had a great time--- lots of scuba, zip lining, repelling, scootering, visited the Mayan ruins, a lot of relaxation....

Re: So where did you go on your honeymoon?
Corpus Christi, Texas. Yay beaches. Close enough that we could afford it but far enough away to be considered a vacation.
it was during spring break though, so lots of annoyances. Had a good time though

We went on an Eastern Carribean Cruise. It left out of Fort Lauderdale the day after the wedding. We should have waited an extra day because it was too much running around. Our flight left at 6am the morning after the wedding. It was a little crazy until we got to the boat.
Our boat stopped at St. Thomas, St. Martin and Gran Turk. We had a great time snorkling and fishing. I had gotten a little sunburned.
The downside is when we were leaving the airport after our enjoyable honeymoon, a taxi turned in front of us and we hit him. I was rushed to the hospital with a bad ankle injury. There was suprisingly no brakes but I had ligament and nerve damage.
At least it happened on the way home and I was just cleared to drive last week. Yay!
We did a Southern Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Victory out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. We stopped in St.Lucia, St. Thomas, Barbados, Bermuda, St.Kitts and St. Maarten.
We also left at 6am the morning after the wedding which was hectic, but the cruise was amazing! I needed a very relaxing 7 days and that's what we got!

We went to Italy, we rented an apartment in Rome and sort of branched out from there to Venice, Florence, Pisa, and Naples. It was the most amazing and relaxing time. We saw a lot of things, had amazing food, and drank great wine. We left Tuesday morning after the wedding, so we had plenty of time to write all of our TY notes before we left, and pack.

We went to Vietnam. Our honeymoon definitely didn't qualify as "relaxing" but it was exactly what we wanted. We live steps from the beach and my dad lives half of the year in Hawaii, so we wanted somewhere a bit more outside of normal. One of my BFFs lives in Vietnam and gifted us with the coordination of our trip along with personal guides and drivers at each location.
We were able to see a good portion of the country while eating new foods and meeting a lot of new people. Our favorite place on the trip was Ha Long Bay, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.

We had a "mini-moon" and drove up the East Coast the week after the wedding to make it to my home town for our second reception. We spent the night in DC and visited friends, and then spent a few days in Gettysburg before heading to my house.
We just took our "real" honeymoon last week! I'm so glad we did bc all of the after wedding stuff was done. We went on a Western Caribbean Cruise that stopped in the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Jamaica!
