I waited to long to book, so we are staying at the Holiday inn near the airport. It's only 10 miles outside the city, so no big deal, but it would have been nice to stay in the city. Plus side it's it's much cheaper than the other hotels I looked at! haha
I can't wait to just get away for a couple days!
It's not a bad drive at all from the airport into the city...just a straight shot down the highway. You'll also be close to IKEA if you want to do a little shopping.
If at all possible, drive into the city from your hotel at night. You come out of the tunnel, straight onto a bridge with the lights of the city spread out around you. It's pretty awesome.

I love IKEA, but DH hates going in there! Maybe I can convice him to stop by! haha
I'm excited that there is so much going on in the city this weekend. Fireworks, the Regatta and of couse baseball! It should be a busy weekend!
