Confession
I bought some maternity crop pants today. Because of all this meds and shots it is making me a little bloated, even though I have lost one pound (and they told me I would gain--proved them wrong!), that regular pants are killing me.
I tried wearing regular pants twice last week and I thought I die so I had to wear some sweatpants and a skirt that had stretchy waist. I told George I couldn't wear sweatpants Tues-Friday at work so I had to get some new pants.
I looked at Lane Bryant and a few other places and they didn't have anything unless I wanted to pay $70 for a dress and I don't think so.
I felt silly going into Motherhood Maternity to buy a pair of pants but oh my gosh they are so comfy. I might have to wear them even if I am not PG. The girl checking me out asked for my due date and I felt a little weird. I told this perfect stranger that we were going through treatments and so bloated couldn't wear regular pants. I can't believe I told a total stranger that!
I am tempted to go to Target to get the maternity pants I saw, but I have these crops and 1 or 2 stretch skirts. I just have to get through Friday and I don't want to have maternity pants just in case.
I do feel weird wearing maternity pants when I don't know if I am PG or not, but hopefully we are. I was disappointed in their selection for plus-size clothes. Where do you get plus-size maternity clothes?

aww...don't feel bad heather! i get SO bloated around period time. i totally look pg. I wore jeans to work today that usually must be worn with a belt or they fall off and they were quite snug b/c of my bloatiness. it can do crazy things to your body!
i'm glad you have something to be comfortable in and hopefully come next thursday you'll need more of them!!

Old Navy just released some plus size maternity stuff. I lived in their shirts (which I was ok in an XL in regular sizes. and they have XXL too) But they have some pants now in plus sizes. I will be ordering some soon, because I feel like I am already starting to show

Yes. Old Navy has a good selection online. A few stores carry it in store. Gap mat. pants are super comfy.
Don't feel bad! The first time I put on my gap mat. pants I swore I'd never wear jeans w/ zippers again! lol
