Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I second this. I liked being able to just upload!
Before the format change on TK, we had to upload pics this way. When it changed back in the Fall, we could use the direct from computer upload.
Don't worry. You will get used to it, I promise. For some people, this is just going back to the way things used to be. Some say it's simpler. Me? I don't care as long as I have fun with pictures. LOL

You have to upload your picture to a photosharing site like photobucket. Right click on the picture, click on properties and copy the URL for the pciture.
Make that a tiny url (tinyurl.com)- sometimes it works without making it a tinyurl but I usually just do it anyway.
Copy the tiny url. Click on the image button in the post (the tree) and paste the URL into the image section and then press post.
