Re: Weekend plans!
We had talked about going out for dinner tonight...but just for appetizers. There's a place here that does half-price appetizers in the bar all night, so we figured we'd just have appetizers for dinner.
I'm okay with it...they have a crab and artichoke dip that is to die for!
Tomorrow, we have a BBQ in the afternoon.
Sunday, I think we'll do a hike during the day, then hit another BBQ in the late afternoon/evening. We've been told that these people have a place on a lake, and we'll be able to see that town's fireworks from there.
Monday, no plans yet. I think DH wants to do a second hike, but that one might be without me (he hasn't gotten to do his solo "Father's Day hike" yet).

Tonight, we might do a fish fry.
Saturday, we might go to a water park- they are having these daredevils walk on a wire over the pool, then a hot air balloon glow at night followed by fireworks.
Sunday we will be grilling out with my family.
Tonight- no plans so far maybe we will go out to eat or something
Saturday- T is off work!! So we will more than likely lounge around the house. Then sometime around 5 or so he is going to his dads house. Every year they cook a half a hog (I know sounds so redneck) but they cook it over a open fire and it cooks all night and the meat literally falls off the bone it is so delicious! FIL hinted around that he wanted T to come help him watch the fire all night. So T is going to do that. I will more than likely go over there for awhile and then come back home or go to MIL house (she lives right up the road).
Sunday- the hog will be ready around lunch so we will have pulled pork sandwiches and all the fixins then I imagine we will come back home and T will crash.
Monday- T has to work half the day then after that we are going to my parents for a bbq. Mom bought a boston butt from someone so we will have pulled pork sandwiches and all the fixins.
Tonight - probably just hanging home and doing some cleaning.
Tomorrow - might help DH take down the sheetrock in baby #2 room. It is in bad shape and we need to have some electrical run anyways. I also want to see Eclipse, so I might go to the movies by myself since DH won't go with me.
Sunday - Cookout with my family
Monday - might head over to the IL's house and take Emmy swimming again.
Tuesday - I am off! I will probably bring Emmy into work to visit and then I have the hairdresser in the afternoon.
Baby #2 - D&E - 10/1/10 @ 19w2d - thanatophoric dysplasia confirmed.
Charlotte Lillian will be forever in our hearts.
Baby #3 - Little Bean - natural miscarriage - 1/17/11 @ 5w5d
tonight: John had a double header, and I was bored, so I took the dogs over to my parents' house to play with their dogs
tomorrow: another double header in the evening, working around the house during the day
Sunday: bumming around the house, then either to my parents' friends' house for a bbq or over to ILs house. Gotta get away from our house and all of the fireworks to keep the dogs calm.
Monday: bumming around the house, John goes to the state capital late afternoon to get settled in at his hotel b/c he takes his police certification test on Tuesday morning!
we had a super busy weekend
friday: i got off early friday and spent the rest of the day cleaning until dh got back from atlanta.
saturday: my brother came into town that morning and stayed until monday night.we swam all day. my bro plays guitar, so we had lots of fun singing on the back porch
sunday: we went for a hike. i saw a snake and dh and murphy got covered in ticks. GROSS! This is why I do not go outside in summer. blech. that night we had our neighbors over for grilling out and a pool party
monday: SIL and her family came over for another grill out/pool party.
it was a lot of fun, but i'm exhausted. we entertained all weekend!
