What is the longest dry spell for you and your DH?

For us, it's been about 1 1/2 months. Especially sad since we used to do it every day for the first two years and he used to get really upset if we missed a day. I guess I just want to know that this is normal and is something that we can fix. We've only been married five months.[Poll]

Longest has been 6 months, broke my hip a few years back. Never had sex everyday, but I can say with life getting in the way and being busy it can be very easy to go without for a while.

I pick a week or less but when we are together the longest we go without sex is 3 days, and thats rare.. Since we are both in the military sometimes we have to go 6+ months because we are apart.. Maybe thats why we make up for it when we are together. If I feel its been to long I usually jump him and don't give him a choice to say no. Even if you don't feel like having sex once you start getting into it you will be glad you did.

When we were engaged, we were trying to be good in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. The longest it lasted was about a month at a time.

I voted 1 month plus due to surgery, but for other reasons, the longest was 12 days, which was a long time for us. We are normally a 2-3 times a week, even after 6 years of marriage. It is normal to slow down a bit, we went from every day to every other and so on. Just talk to your DH if you are noticing a problem.

2 weeks. I was sick the first week and then the 2nd week he was away on business. We made up for it when he got home

I voted over 6 months. When we're together we normally have sexi time at least once per week. We've had multiple times where we're not even in the same country or state for months at a time.

About a month. I had emergency gallbladder surgery and was in a lot of pain and on a lot of meds.

For us, the longest spells have fallen between one and about four months -- we did the long-distance thing off and on for a LONG time (I think that after seven years of being together, we're finally at a point where we've occupied the same city longer or at least as long as we've been long-distance).

Since getting married last year, I would say three weeks has probably been the longest because of our work schedules, my period and life in general.

The longest was 9 months because my husband had hip surgery and was in a lot of pain for the few months leading up to the surgery. It was horrible. But things are back to normal again Big Smile
