I hope everyone had a greath 4th of July weekend - do you get today off too, since yesterday was a Sunday? Excuse my Canadian ignorance re: your holiday.

The board has been really quiet, and since it's nothing special here HH is at work and I'm lonely. Is anyone around?

I did! I am off today as are most other people- but not all are so lucky (

It is the federal observance of the 4th though- banks, fed offices, and post offices are closed.

I'm off too, but not exactly because of the holiday. I'm a teacher so in the summer, I babysit part time. The family that I babysit for on Mondays is out of town, so I'm going to the pool in a little while!

Ash, I'm a teacher too! I don't do any side babysitting anymore though - I used to when I was still in school and working part time at a daycare. I babysat for a lot of those kids. Fun job

This is the first summer where I haven't worked since I was 17. I'm thoroughly enjoying not having any responsibilities other than cooking and cleaning. I could totally be a SAHW.

I had a VERY busy 4th of July... the inn/ bar I work at was slammed. But fortunately I'm off today to catch up on everything I've neglected over the weekend-- including the board!

I'm off today, too, and so is HH (we thought he was going to have to work)! We've been puttering around the house, doing laundry and dishes and such, and are now waiting for my "little" brother to get here so we can all go to the amusement park. Matt and I have season passes, but so far, we've only gone to the pool in the water park! Haha. He likes roller coasters but not much else, so Caleb will be my ride buddy.

I am working today but would normally be off. I took my holiday day on friday to go to the services for Bernies Stepmother. So I am here working but loving it because I am being left alone in peace!! Woohoo! Hubby is at home pouting because I am not there. Sigh might try to leave early so we can hang out at the pool and grill. Wish I had become a teacher darn it. Just a bit jealous!!!

I'm off! I work at a community college. HH has the day off too, but he is still asleep. Going to try and get my nails done & go grocery shopping!
